Knowledge and Business Development Administrator

We are looking for a dynamic Knowledge and Business Development Administrator (KBDA) to join our high-performing team in the Accra head office. The KBDA will develop an intelligent knowledge management system, will be overhauling our service lines while acquiring new business and will oversee the launch and organisation of our annual event series. 

As our Knowledge and Business Development Administrator, you will achieve the following outcomes:

1.       Build an intelligent AFG knowledge management system that will help us develop

·       Build a coherent system that captures and archives all important final reports and documents resulting from missions

·       Establish a seamless process that effectively enables the team to file such documents

·       Develop a system that monitors relevant content for training, learning and business analytics

2.       Develop our service line structure and take it to the next level

·       Review and overhaul AFG service lines

·       Launch additional service lines capturing concrete growth opportunities

·       Develop marketing strategies to successfully sell new service lines

3.       Grow our project pipeline

·       Manage the proposal development process end-to-end

·       Monitor public tender opportunities that are a fit for AFG

·       Increase our pipeline of potential projects

4.       Take ownership of annual, international event organisation

·       Conceptualize and design the overall event

·       Attract and sign service partners

·       Handle invitations, ticketing and event logistics

·       Lead marketing and PR coverage of the event

·       Monitor budget and working capital

You acquired above-mentioned competencies in previous work experience of a minimum of 2-3 years, preferably in Ghana or West Africa. Theoretical knowledge, critical and analytical thinking were acquired during your undergraduate and/or postgraduate education in the field of business, economics or related areas.
